Sunset Horse Tours offers scenic horse ride tours along Herron Point's waterside beaches in Western Australia, catering to individuals, couples, and groups.
We offer beach rides from 10 minutes up to the 2 hour wine and cheese picnic rides, with our 30 minute and 1 hour rides being the most popular options.

Our Services
School Holiday Programs
We also offer our very fun and informative school holiday horse programs, which operate each school holidays on selected days, for a duration of 3 hours.
Our sessions are a great way for children to learn the basics of horse care, feeding, nutrition, brushing and even how to ride the horses.
Romantic Proposals
Are you thinking of the perfect way to propose to your loved one? We have successfully helped many couples "pop the question" with a beautiful marriage proposal, set on horseback along the beach for the perfect setting!

Story
Get to Know Us
Sunset Horse Tours first opened in March 2016 and quickly became a successful business, being the only horse tour business that offered beach rides on every tour. The business grew from 2 horses to eventually 9 horses and 5 staff members by 2019. Unfortunately due to Covid-19, we made the devastating decision to close our doors in June 2021, which resulted in most of the horses being sold. Fortunately, it didn't mean the end of us!
We managed to make a few changes and officially opened again in July 2023. It has meant that we needed to start as a small business again, and operating with 2 horses and 1 pony, however we still offer the same fantastic customer service, the same beautiful beach front rides and our horses are still very much the well behaved and quiet horses that everyone loves!
There is no prior horse riding experience required, as our rides are a relaxing leisurely stroll along the beach and riders can be on lead and led along if required. We hope to continue to offer our much loved rides and attractions over the next few years, in the hope to become a booming business again.

Opening Hours
Sunset Horse Tours are open most days and times, with our Sunset Rides being offered on selected weekends during the month. We also do early morning and day-time rides.
We are open from 9am to 5pm on weekdays and from 9am to 7pm on selected weekends.
